Terms & Conditions

By submitting a commission request on our site you are agreeing to the following -

General Terms

In contracting Lily Archer Creative ("LAC") you are paying for the knowledge and experience provided by the owner as a seamstress and cosplayer. You are not paying for the design or reproduction of any copyrighted characters or intellectual property entities not owned by LAC.


When feasible, an in-person fitting will be scheduled to ensure proper adjustments are made. If the LAC team is required to travel for this fitting the cost of doing so is the responsibility of the client. An additional "Fitting Fee" will also be applied.


A non-refundable deposit of 25% of the total commission cost (or the cost of materials, whichever is higher) is due within 48 hours of the invoice being sent, unless otherwise discussed. The remaining balance may be paid in installments on the following schedule:

- Once measurements are received and a muslin pattern / mock-up is made for the main costume pieces an additional 50% of the total cost will be paid before work can begin using the final fabric, bringing the total paid to 75% of the total cost. 

- Once final photos are sent to the client a shipping estimate will be obtained and added to the invoice. (This is done to ensure the most accurate quote possible.) Payment must be made in full before the commission will be shipped.


The client is responsible for all shipping and/or customs fees. Unless otherwise stated shipping fees are not included in any service pricing. Shipping is done through either UPS or USPS Priority Mail and will include a tracking number. Expedited shipping is available upon request.


All physical commission or tailoring services may be canceled within 5 business days of your order being placed. A partial or complete refund will be provided, however deposits on commissions are considered non-refundable and will not be returned in the event of a cancellation.

Returns & Refunds

Dissatisfaction resulting from a lack of or incorrect information from the client (i.e. missing or incorrect measurements or reference images) will not be considered eligible for a refund. Further alterations will be considered on a case-by-case basis and will be subject to an additional fee. The client will be responsible for any shipping costs incurred to facilitate these alterations.


If the dissatisfaction results from an error on our side the following apply -

Refunds on commissioned pieces will be considered on a case by case basis. If no other solution can be reached (i.e. allowing for additional work or alterations to be completed) a refund will be offered for the cost of the commission minus the non-refundable deposit. Ownership of the piece will remain with LAC; the refund will be provided once the piece has been returned to LAC by the client.
